Web 2.0 applications

The Page Studio has added Web 2.0 server-side applications to its capabilities.

These server-side applications, Wordpress, Joomla, Moodle and others, allow us to create powerful websites using online templates with WEB 2.0 capability. This allows for social networking, blogging, content management, distance learning and other dynamic capabilities that were not previously found in static, client-side HTML pages.

In the future, I will be adding to this list, with new WEB 2.0 applications that I can offer to my clients. I look forward to working with you. Please contact me to discuss the details of these exiting new technologies and how they can affect the way we live and work.

Content management systems

Click on the image to go to the Page Studio Joomla CMS, which is a work in progress where we can manage the content collaboratively online and add lots of dynamic features like calendars, RSS feeds and drop-down menus which are all built right into the template. Users can update the content themselves once the template is setup by the designer.

Search Engine Optimization and Marketing

Using Keywords that are specially chosen for optimizing searches on Google and other search engines, we are able to create content that drives large amounts of business directly to a website. Click on the image at left to see stories written using over 200 keywords for the products being sold on the website. On this page it is for golf clubs but it could be anything. That's SEO and SEM.

Blogs and content creation for the web

E-commerce Websites

Users can enter products into a database once the initial template is set up by the designer, and cutomers can buy things using a credit card on PayPal.

Social Networking Pages

Social networking sites like Facebook have made it possible for multimedia to be shared by anyone with a camera, a webcam or a digital sound recorder. The possibilities for communication in this format are nearly endless. We will keep each other posted for future developments.
